Above average company with good wlb
4.0Current Employee / Software Engineer III
Pros: - Video game company (if you like it) - Good salary for the gaming industry - Great work life balance (at least in my team) - Beautiful offices - Easy interviews
Cons: - Total comp better in other companies - Low skills engineers (from easy interviews?) - RTO (Return to office) 3 days/week - Company going private
2. May 17, 2026
A retirement home for ex-FAANG people
3.0Current Employee / Software Engineer
Pros: Comp is decent; growth is weird (people levelling off at swe 3);
Cons: pif is gonna turn this company into a pip factory
3. May 8, 2026
Good work life balance, management cares about people
4.0Current Employee / Engineering Department Manager
Pros: Great people you can easily connect with, easy to fit in, offer and receive feedback that helps your grow
Cons: Politics and alignment process takes a lot of time and effort
4. May 4, 2026
You better be really good at politics
3.0Current Employee / Director of Global Marketing
Pros: If you are a high performer, they will compensate you every year, and make it known that they have you under. “ Golden handcuffs.” a lot of people that work. There are there for decades, but don’t necessarily move up.
Cons: Management doesn’t really make decisions and anything that is decided on takes months. It is a very clicky high school Cafeteria vibe and business goals Change every quarter.

Great place to work but uncertain future
3.0Current Employee / Director of Applications Development
Pros: Budget for every tool, Cloud provider and tech approach to build the best games possible
Cons: Each studio and group is fragmented and not standard even the game engine is not uniform, not enough top down standardization mandates. Uncertain future going from public to private equity
6. April 17, 2026
Above average overall
3.0Current Employee / Software Developer
Pros: Work life balance can be good sometimes, depending on which team
Cons: Pay not competitive comparing to other tech companies, benefits could be better too.
