Used to be great wlb. Unsure with current RTO
5.0Current Employee / Director of Business Strategy
Pros: Colleagues are great on average WLB (until full RTO) Reasonable benefits and 401k Good PTO Unbreakable business model
Cons: Full RTO impacts balance Pay is below avg and takes a while to fully vest/roll on

can have a life outside work
4.0Current Employee / Principal Engineer
Pros: work life balance is good. not too stressful. work isn’t pushed onto devs at the levels seen in Faang
Cons: poor comp, too bureaucratic. there is more process involved than actual work

Was alright, slowly declining
3.0Current Employee / Full Stack Developer
Pros: I am still able to maintain work life balance here
Cons: Culture is changing with dropping their hybrid model to full rto. Work is not fulfilling and there has been push to use copilot. Engineers start to write worse code, we pick up more production issues, work is getting done slower.

Great WLB but can feel a bit stale
4.0Former Employee / Data Scientist
Pros: - Low pressure environment - Meaningful work - Good access to leadership - Great job security. Many people make a life-long career out of it - Reasonable work-life balance
Cons: - Some projects may span for months if not years and it gets boring - Siloed project work. I did not feel like I had a big picture of what we were doing - Very limited career progression (comp grows with time though)

Good Company, great work life balance, management old fashion
4.0Current Employee / Senior Software Engineer
Pros: Good Company, great work life balance, opportunities depending on your department
Cons: Management old fashion, not connected very well with technology, some people have very strong attitudes and are hard to work with and management doesn’t do anything about it
