Squandered potential
3.0Current Employee / Staff Engineer/Manager
Pros: Smart colleagues, strong tech, pockets of good wlb and culture, early investments in TPU sets them up for plausible AI traction if they can avoid self sabotage
Cons: Seems unable to launch and perseve in support new products, aggressive cost cutting is way past self defeating - perf/promo quotas, no travel, aggressive off shoring, politics and constant reorgs, mandatory commute to spend your day jum...

Good work life balance but very fee growth opportunities
3.0Current Employee / Senior Software Engineer
Pros: Good comp and WLB Good career progression till L5 Big scale, you will learn a lot in the right team
Cons: Your experience will be team dependent. After L5, it is really difficult in some orgs to grow more and you will see lots of non competent people at L6+ questioning the ladder and policies Not the best managers. Some toxic, some non com...

It shows that they care about people because they still have designated time off, sick time, free food, and travel
5.0Current Employee / Sales Specialist
Pros: A holistic vision that makes sense, and I can bring value with my expertise. The fact that they still have ability to travel to customers, they have their own technology, and seem to care
Cons: Other than using a Chromebook nothing comes to mind. Some ambiguity in how to sell but that's fine.

Great people and good wlb
5.0Current Employee / Senior Software Engineer
Pros: Best compensation per hour in the industry, excellent peer group, great culture and terrific internal tooling.
Cons: Slow moving, really long design to launch cycles, no longer top of market in absolute pay. Career can stagnate.
