Politics, low TC, last refresher is a scam
3.0Current Employee / Software Engineer
Pros: Leadership is a mixture of good high level, poor mid level (politics-natives), and good team level EMs. Better than at many other places I guess, but in the end reviews are not great for technical-first folls. Wlb generally allows to ch...
Cons: Hard to grow beyond 5 on purely professional vibes — welcome to the political games with negativity selected mid management

Good WLB with good culture
4.0Current Employee / UX Designer
Pros: Everyone is really nice and supportive for the most part, genuinely has a kind culture.
Cons: The company is not as inspirational as it was a few years ago, rideshare feels like a race to the bottom.

Love working at Lyft
5.0Former Employee / Marketing Manager
Pros: The team and culture at lyft is almost like a family. The customer obsession trickles down to the employee level too so it feels very human.
Cons: Sometimes growth can be slow, there’s always a lot of opportunity but you have to really push in some areas.

Just started and new to Blind
4.0Current Employee / HR Consultant
Pros: Good team, mission, values, and good office location for Giants and Warriors game day.
Cons: Compensation is lower than other tech companies and industry competitors

Good overall
4.0Current Employee / Business Analytics Manager
Pros: The product is interesting, work/life expectations are realistic, benefits are pretty good. Not that toxic of a political environment compared to previous employers.
Cons: Constantly changing priorities, some bad initiatives. CEO is good overall but there's some legacy dysfunction from poor leadership in several different orgs. Head of marketplace and direct manager is good.
