Culture deteriorated with new management, toxic workplace
3.0Former Employee / Senior Software Engineer
Pros: Compensation near top of FAANG barring AI companies. Interesting work.
Cons: Toxic management pushing arbitrary metrics for performance, stack ranking and forced PIP, lots of politics and “favorites” in play to determine ratings.

Used to be a great place to work...
2.0Former Employee / HR Business Partner
Pros: The founders are absolutely amazing and truly some of the best people you will ever meet. They created an amazing company and product.
Cons: The culture was awful: no autonomy, no fun, completely political. The company has drastically gone downhill, and I personally am glad I got out when I did, because I've heard it's only continually gotten worse since leaving.

Lack of mission
4.0Current Employee / Staff Engineer

Cons: Company including managers and PMs, does not seem to know the product direction.

Understaffed Company & Smart People
5.0Current Employee / Software Engineer II
Pros: Company is understaffed and fast paced work culture across different teams. Less stress about layoffs and understanding leadership
Cons: Sometimes it feels like a top down company and unclear roadmap because of changing priorities under new leadership

It’s dead without Slootman
1.0Former Employee / Region Manager
Pros: Solid work, customers, peers- mainly good IC’s across functions. Post Slootman it’s been chaotic
Cons: Weak leadership from Google/ Microsoft, the CEO change was a dagger 🗡️
7. May 20, 2026
No clear career growth path.
4.0Current Employee / Software Developer
Pros: Competing TC. Team members are nice to work with. WLB ok
Cons: No clear path for career growth. High senior above Ic ratio.

Good pay, poor wlb
3.0Current Employee / Senior Software Developer
Pros: Great pay, great people here and there, good to learn managing your visibility in the company
Cons: Big push to deliver a lot in a very short time - a lot of technical debt, which no one has any motivation to address.
9. May 18, 2026
WLB ok, culture has gone downhill
3.0Current Employee / Account Manager
Pros: Decent comp compared to other SAAS companies and work life balance is ok but depends on role/region
Cons: Culture has gone downhill since leadership change Management doesn’t care about IC input and the whole org has become very process heavy with new initiatives/changes every day No opportunity for advancement
